What a strong-ass girl. Her parents just died (from her POV) and she barely escaped with her like too and is still at risk of being killed. But she was able to record the message without faltering (only broke down a bit afterwards).

That's how you write a strong female character. Nice one author-sensei

If I had to guess, the grandfather is dead as well and the uncle is the new count. He will be receiving that message and make appropriate arrangements to kill Chris, probably by having his underlings pretend to be the grandfather's soldiers. Logically one should be able to check if such a change in power has happened, even if it's far away, but something tells me Hiro, Chris, and the others won't have the idea to do it.
