That's not the part I'm asking about, though? The thug remembering that holo-porn upon seeing the blue haired girl implies that the girl in that porno was similar enough to bring up the memory. The fact that he's getting an ominous feeling from that feels more to me like the author clumsily trying to justify inserting that foreshadow for Tina's past.

I like the worldbuilding on this, reminds me a bit of both starsector and rimworld

I'm always disappointed that we don't get more space/sci-fi/mecha stories out of Japan anymore, despite the fact that they used to put out a decent amount of quality ones.

We do at least have a few ongoing Gundam serializations and the occasion other story like this one, Rebuild World, etc., but otherwise everything else continues to just be more variations on isekai or the like.

Heck, at this point, I'd be happy to even get more near-future "light" sci-fi stories like Mahouka, as long as it just gets us away from the constant barrage of high fantasy, level-up systems, etc.

The question about Tina's past has been bothering me for a while, because something quite nasty is implied in volume 5 of the LN. I haven't seen anyone talking about it, so I thought I might as well ask here and see if I get a response from WN readers, since it apparently already reached the part that explains it.

It's heavily implied that Tina was part of an extremely nasty porn production. We get that from the thoughts of a thug that kidnapped Wiska:

Ever since I saw that bluehaired girl, I had an ominous feeling that just wouldn’t go away. I saw a girl like her in a holo-porn once, I think. That shit was so wild, I remember feeling sick for two whole days after.

I have a lot of thoughts on this. Too many to write here. I really just want to be spoiled on what really happened to her (and maybe a pointer to where it happens so I can read it myself). I kinda lost interest in the story a while ago, but this particular doubt resurfaced this chapter, since the twins' reactions somewhat fit this possible past.

I'm pretty sure this wasn't implied by this point in the WN, but this author tends to write foreshadows into earlier LN volumes after considering what happened in the future volumes of the WN.

i think if that line exist it probably about the fact that tina were tie up almost nake in the back room(nothing was done to her yet)
and nasty holo-porn that make him sick is what going to happen to wiska if tina didn't ransom her

They also made big deal about how the noble sword failed to cut an energy shield. So just shield it and move the blade forward as a bayonet.

Fun fact: There actually where weapons like that, and I don't mean bayonets. Granted as you guessed there is a reason they didn't find widespread use. Usually it was intended for when something was to close to reload and shot at so you start beating them with the hatchet/Axe part but the gun was often unusable afterwards. We are talking the era of "muskets" after all.
In this case it's "the rule of cool" and definitely not intended as a "Real life researched and engineer approved" design added to a manga so best not to think about it
