I think this comments section is amazing in that it's basically one collective "finally, a main character that isn't unrealistic in either direction". It's hard proof that the average reader who enjoys isekai in manga/WNs/LNs really is that starved for a normal character and situations that feel believable, despite the fact isekai protagonists are supposed to be "normal" when they start out.

Uhm, clearing the misunderstanding AFTER sleeping with her is definitely scummy, but somehow fits his "I don't give a shit and take what I want" character. Fortunately, she was ok with it and resigned herself to her fate of being part of his harem, so all was good in the end.

It also proves most of these authors are weirdo repressive. They constantly write characters into situations where sex should happen and the MC just wusses out for no reason. These vegan MC’s aren’t repressed by religion, aren’t suffering from past sexual abuse, and are out of their societal norms. They should at least get with the main girl in these other stories.
