The footage from the ship will obviously be curated by Mei to make them the most enviable ship crew in space. They might root around in the Krishna thinking they could replicated it but it might also be so specifically one of a kind that they can't possibly copy it. Again, something Mei would have calculated. So they'll probably not only be the equivalent of traveling celebrities, but they may have just documented their OP-ness in the eyes of other ships.

WAIT! Is Krishna from some golden age of lost technology? Or from another universe like Hiro?

It was the same as him, curiously transported from game world that probably has much further tech tree (at least concerning space ship development) than his current one.

He stated that while the mechanics, the ships, the system, and most things that he has experienced in that world were similiar to the game (and some of it were exactly the same), there are glaring differences that made it can't be simply explained with 'game world turned into real' reasoning.

A few things people don't seem to understand.

Why is Krishna "OP"? Most of it's parts are buyable in world, only the frame/hull(?) and the generator aren't. The generator is "OP" because it's output is equal to those meant for a bigger ship. This allows for more energy hungry equipment.

What was the exclusive contract giving away for discounts?
Making sure the Space Dwerg mothership is used, then maintenance is pretty much exclusive to Space Dwerg.

The third part is getting info on how it's used, which should be something like performance readings.

The fourth one is PRIORITY media rights, aka if he is to sell videos of his fights he has to go through Space Dwerg first. Even then he can just not. If you're gonna ask how they make a profit from this deal, gold mercs are rare and if someone wants an interview or the like with Hiro then they go to Space Dwerg and this can be a bargaining chip.

An overhaul, which means they can try to figure out it's tech. As I said earlier the really important part is the generator. Does anyone think they would be allowed to take it apart?
The operations data is like performance data for PCs.


For the guy fearing pirates getting hold of a Krishna like ship, the only ones getting anything on the same level are gonna be state approved privateers. Pirates don't have the money to buy the parts, everything they have are scrap tier parts.

Been reading the WN and boy it’s getting spicy, can’t wait for the manga to get to some of the later arcs since I love the artstyle of the characters, really compliments it well.

So the manga is already handling some things much better than the WN, as far as I can tell.

My biggest gripe isn't that Krishna is being overhauled, it's the fact it's being overhauled (and the reason given here is 10 times better than the reason given in the WN) by the company that has done its all to make as bad and unprofessional of an impression as possible. And it's shown so much desperation that I feel like this is a company lagging behind in capability with lackluster engineers. Why, in all of space, would I want to trust this company?

The decision to go with them makes Hiro, Elma and especially Mei feel out of character. Especially giving flight data of Krishna for the following reason:

That data is useless for anyone who isn't fighting against the ship.

1) The manufacturer, assuming they can replicate the ship, can test it themselves once they build it, and can use remote control to test the absolute limits. They'd need to, anyway, considering their manufacturing might be better or worse than the original.

2) They need many different pilots and test pilots to create a generalized enough flight computer system for use by many customers. Hiro's data wouldn't even be important for the sake of this, and could be harmful considering most people aren't as skilled as him, and optimizing for the best of the best can get regular pilots killed.

3) It can thus only be sold if its going to be worth the discount they're getting. But who would buy it? Oh, right, anyone who wants to take out the Krishna. And pretty much only them.

There's something else that happens in the near future that only makes this business deal even worse to anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together.

But this is the worst arc in the WN, and things get better after it, so I encourage anyone to stay for the ride and get into the next arc before you decide whether to stop reading or keep going.

the media team = try to enter his ship uninvited when hiro was going on a mission to record some video
and the last if i remember the maintenance team which when given the right to inspect the ship try to enter the ship (same with media but earlier if i remember right) and try interogate him if i remember right

because the twin is cute and rather an additional money maker since they aboard he can haul lot of ship and beside if i remember right most if not all of mechanic already join a company (beside the illegal one) so that will be hard which is why mei allowed them to board in the first place because i'm 100% sure she will not even allowed them to board when it was that easy to gather a mechanic (thought if i remember right she did punish them but i forgot what mei did to punish them)
so yeah overall the most biggest reason is probably since the author want some dwarf girl :v
and finally remember since the wn is slightly different from ln thought they kinda follow the same route on which girl our mc meet so i can't wait for the time when hiro finally bang serena in ln :v

They can "probably" replicate his ship but his skills can only be copied by those super nobles with all the enhancements, and even then a super enhanced noble (most likely a high rank) wouldn't personally pilot a something smaller than what the MC just bought.

Anyway, a single faction could probably over-engineer something that can match Krishna but, again, it's not really worth it to invest so much on a good light ship when they can just use their already available destroyers that can output more than a squad of smaller ships.

There's really only few answers to this situation, and selling their info while it's still valuable is one of the better ones. Imagine getting scanned by a really good scanner, all your data gets stolen, and you can't even benefit from it.

If they can securely black box Krishna then they wouldn't need to think about it, but they don't even have a trusted engineer yet.

Should have made a deal involving some small cut on anything they make and sell using his ship's data and knowledge gleaned from its technology and design. Since the ship is unique to him, no one can prevent him from claiming IP rights. Even a tiny cut is a whole lot when scaled to the costs of ships and the numbers they'd be selling.

They can make copies of Khrisna and the his monopoly will be gone.

I feel it will be okey, because technology will advance even if they didn't get the info now
and it's not like khrisna is super advanced in tech,, it will most likely be limited edition at most and a little more expensive, thats all.
