Did they already forget the party island boat a few arcs ago. The whole front of its upper deck was basically a pool with enough room for seating and some trees...

I mean sure it was mostly just an oversized jacuzzi, but still deep enough one could swim in circles.

I don't think the pool in the Hideaway was all that large or deep really. Not all that strange that someone who could not swim would still enter that but not be super comfortable going into an actual swimming pool. Especially when the fun of a swimming pool is more in the swimming while for a bath it's sitting in the hot water talking perhaps drinking or enjoying the bubbles or streams or what ever it may come with.

From what I remember, he didn't have actual swimsuits for them that time, so they just reused the conservative water yukata he had made by a tailor for his homemade hot tub raft.

From what people have said under spoilers in other chaptersmost scenes are the fade to black kind, but he does sleep with a couple of them. Forget who, or when. But he doesnt remaina virgin forever.

If it is deep enough you can be fully submerged without laying down, the concept of swimming or atleast treading water would be discussed. And that fully ignores the fact they have now spent a few months traveling and fighting in deep water in all sizes boats and ships.
