What I'm saying is that in the future, he lacks any motivation to fight for anything. He has everything by that point. He is just doing shit cuz the girls want him to. This arc drags on for a long time as a result and he's just there passively. I already showed it before in the summary section thread, but he goes for the cruise as it's a party boat. He already reached his peak and all we're doing is watching him get dragged into shit. Author is just speeding shit up after the first arc or so. Would have been more interesting with a varied cast of characters and if they slowed down his progress and allowed us to see every vessel he buys. The floating island doesn't get used again. The small boats are just used for docking at this point and the concept has worn thin.

I'm surprised that the reason he bought this is to break through the blockade, when he would probably get through solely by the fact that his ship can't be attacked. They would have to physically make a wall against his ship to bar him entry, and I don't think they'd be too keen on that if they see that it's a juggernaut ship that just keeps trucking regardless of what they shoot at it.

I'd think the reason he'd buy the speedboat is just that it probably makes the trip there 2x faster.

I think the thought process is "if my boat moves fast enough they won't be able to catch me, and if they don't catch me I don't have to fight them."

While it is true that his normal boats couldn't be stopped, if other ships can keep pace with him he'll inevitably have to fight his way past some of them, and he really really doesn't want to be around when people start getting killed.

Why does he need to care about the world? His ship regenerates food. He can just live on it forever. The god who summons him only did that because it would be "interesting". There is no place to go with the story because he hit his goal so soon. Hell, god is compelling him to do shit after this. If the MC has to take quests from gods to do anything, you know there is an issue with the story because there is nothing to keep it going.

This series has been problematic from the start. The MC is described as too passive and paranoid. He was afraid to do anything. He just wanted to hide in his ship his whole life. It's hard to develop a story with MC's characteristic and motive like this, because the options MCs have become very limited. The author has shot his foot from the start. What makes this novel can reach hundreds of chapters is cooking, eating, and the dragged-on story (like this arc). In novel, this arc is drag on because, as I mentioned, MC's options are very limited, and it's author's own fault.
