200kmph?.. are speedboat that fast?...
I don't know anything about jet boats, but on a quick google search, seems like commercially produced boats can be very fast. Saw some that seat 4 or 5 that go over 160mph, and very large ones that have a dozen seats or more go 80mph. 210kph is about 130mph,so i assume there are boats that have an intermediate seating capacity and speed.

Some of them cost way more than a house 👀 disposable income :pepela:

The story is that he doesn't want to do it himself, but he'll let others use it. Later on, he'll offer to let the port city rent his large cargo ship. Then all they have to worry about is a siege on land.
So, he refuses to kill but don't mind helping other to kill. Pretty hypocrite aint it.

Thanks for the spoiler tho, i don't need to wait next chapter to drop it

The guy has a speedster that functions like a torpedo because of how fast it goes and doesn't get damaged. He never uses it because he doesn't want to get involved. So the girls use it and do hit and runs, bombarding the enemies like modern day pirates.
Then he doesn't need a speedboat. He can assign a helmsman to any of his ships, remember? He let one the girls steer the luxury yacht. Any coastal military vessel will do it quickly in one operation while providing cover fire since all the the ships come fully stocked.

If the MC is such a stupid bleeding heart then there's still a sleu of ships to choose from in the civilian transport ships like the 12000TD Hovercraft or Ro-Ro cargo ships.

Just tell me common sense died for the rule of cool on this. It's clearly the case.

No, the reason is because he doesn't wish to be named. He goes as far as camouflaging his ship out of fear people might find him. So he stays out of it and only lets people rent his stuff.

He kinda got cornered by the god of creation. He absolutely wanted to refuse but, ya know, divine providence and all that. That being said, looking forward to fantasy-style torpedo attacks. Let's goooo girlies!
they're not punching holes thru hulls with the speedster. They're gonna move really fast with them and nuke the ships within the barrier.

Did you read what you write? He "lets people rent his stuff" meaning if someone asks, he'll get named. How stupid are we pretending these people are? Are they just gonna shrug and say "sounds good to me" when they see a fast vessel zipping around essentially destroying this world's maritime paradigm? Explain how renting his liner - the most massive ship relative to this world, won't get him named.

The premise of this series was suppose to be a light-hearted slow life fantasy, and the protagonist was appropriately easy-going. Adding a serious and dramatic event like a war stinks of the author running out of ideas. The protagonist whining about not wanting to fight or kill when his friends and companions tell him they're worried about their homes and families while he's nigh untouchable with his divine blessings just makes him look like a selfish coward.

He basically has no reason to get involved in the war, except he's just really, really easily swayed.

Like, helping in the war doesn't really help him get his ultimate goal of getting the ocean liner, not when he has his boat and can literally just sail around the war and go to places that other traders can't reach.
Does he feel nothing for all the people he's met? He easily has the power to change the course of any battle near a body of water without any danger to himself.

That is quite literally what he did. The guy was like, I won't help you, but I'll let you use my ship for your war for a price. How he intends to not get named, he
demands they keep it a secret and uses a fake name while wearing a robe whenever they meet. He has one of the girls talk for him. This drags on for ages in the wn until they decide that his liner will serve as a blockade against the enemies. Because he's roleplaying as a merchant, he makes a deal with them to buy supplies from coastal cities to resupply the port.

He doesn't. He feels nothing which is what I had mentioned before. He's not interested in the people or settling down.

Ah.. So that's the level. A "fuck it, I'll just write whatever" story. Fuck me for paying attention.

Which is what I was talking about. He has no interest in the world or the culture. He only gets involved because the girls want him to. He only wants sex and ships. But he still rejects it so the harem is more like a guy and his group of female friends who use his stuff. The issue I'm pointing out is that he has everything because of how the story is written. Why does he need to care about the world? His ship regenerates food. He can just live on it forever. The god who summons him only did that because it would be "interesting". There is no place to go with the story because he hit his goal so soon. Hell, god is compelling him to do shit after this. If the MC has to take quests from gods to do anything, you know there is an issue with the story because there is nothing to keep it going.
So he's the simpest of simps, except he doesn't even want to get out of the friend zone?
