I know he probably said "Hai?" in the last panel, but that doesn't always literally mean "yes". In this case is was a "What?" As in "What did you say?"

BTW cats aren't supposed to drink cow's milk because they can't digest it properly. Sure they might like that, but it might make their tummy hurt, so watch out!

I'm a bit lost on one page he said how did she get in if he just unlocked the door? Did he put her outside or what I truly don't understand that Line

And is this cat Mii? Or was it a cat from his childhood. Bc when he said "when Mii chan kicked me it meant"

It’s like a modern take on Koi Neko, I’ve been waiting for another series like that one, so this is gonna be nice.

also, most black cats are male!!! I freaking hate how every manga/anime with a cat-turn-human, it's always a female black cat!!! I freaking hate this trope by now
I've had 2 black female cats, they're not rare at all

they aren't rare, but it's like 70/30, so for literally every single manga/anime to have black cats turn into human female is dumb (not counting the black cats in BL who turn into male, because well, those are Boy Love's stories)

I'm genuinely asking you to find me a not-BL story where the cat-turn-human is a male black cat.

Giving milk to a cat is...not a good idea. Unless you're into scat.

Just give the cat lactose free milk and it's no problem. Lactose free milk products have been around for more than two decades already. Though I wouldn't keep feeding it to a cat daily, nonetheless, since it's not an adult cat's natural diet, lactose or no lactose. But if you aren't an austere person yourself and treat yourself to delicacies every now and then, your cat should be no exception either. Allow it to eat something different occasionally. Cats seem to enjoy that sort of changes.

Obviously in shounen/seinen manga the cat-person is going to be female. The target audience are boys and men, so statistically the vast majority of them will want to see a cat-girl. Aside from the author's personal preferences, which might or might not matter at all since the author can only get published stuff that sells, that's like the only answer/explanation you need to consider. So, then, if you simply have practically no cat-boys, then obviously any black-fur cat-person is going to be female.

Giving lactose-free milk presents a different issue, it doesn't have the nutrients necessary to fulfil their diet and at the same time would make them full, instead of eating food with nutrients that are actually important to them. Wet food, meat, fish will always be a better option, even just plain water.

How much are you imagining giving to the cat to lap? What I had in mind would serve as little more than an occasional snack for a cat, if it happens to like it. Milk has fat, protein, calcium, and some vitamins. Cats are so poor drinkers with that lapping technique anyway. Water is what you keep always available. Fortunately water is practically free to replace and doesn't get spoiled overnight.
