Wasn't the author able to not remind of how f*cked up the South Korea's(maybe Japan too) situation with stalking and spy cameras? With how tiny those cameras can be nowadays, freaks use them to ridiculous extent, like installing those in public toilets, so that security needs to make raids to find and dismount them every few hours.

I like this detective/murder mystery direction a lot more than the romcom/harem angle we were having before. It's so depressing to think about how a lot of the people on this retreat (not sure what MT stands for) have to be wary around their peers because it's that common for one of them to pull a stunt like this.

Definitely Japan too. There's presently an active investigation on a spy camera ring of teachers in Nagoya who were trading pictures and video of school kids on SMS without their consent or knowledge. It sucks, but at the very least they're incompetent and eventually get caught. Japan's bigger problem regarding is that stalking, voyeurism, undergarment theft, sexual and power harassment is super under-reported mostly because of societal pressure and a heavy tradition of victim-blaming. I'm assuming Korea is the same way
