Bro got ahead of himself and wrote this manga into a corner with the irrelevant info dump, and the shift to battle shonen.
Should've just focused on the romcom shenanigans, kept the stakes centered around the couple, not the "legendary heritage" shit, that should've been explored gradually.
Same thing happened with The Moon is Beautiful Tonight, but First, Please Die but at least that series' author managed to trudge along and give it a conclusion.
