The Chairman is hilarious. In this spin-off, he's trying to understand the new world he's in by taking note of social issues and fun stuff like fortune-telling and personality quizzes, but he's inherently evil so Tonegawa and the rest of the black-suits take the brunt of it.

I was cracking up the entire time editing the posters on the door and wall of the Harassment Consultation Room, and the faces on the black-suits when he's using them as a bench and when he pushes the footbath container with his foot telling him to drink it 🤣
This manga is so stupid I can't bwhahaahahaa

Is it weird that I absolutely love whenever this spinoff remembers that Hyoudou and Tonegawa are getting up to some deranged stuff :D loved the chapter with that infiltrator but this is a whole next level! The design on the outside is giving deadman wonderland
Oh chairman, you're too far gone, stop attempting the engoodening of company's conditions - it's actually a much healthier environment when it's just a black company!

Hyoudou is such a funny character... in moments like this it's hard to get a read on what things he's being naively sincere about, and what things are just complex traps, I think in part because he also flips back and forth on whims.

I have never seen a series so perfectly convey the fake "always feel safe to go to your boss or HR if you have any complaints UwU!" vibe of a truly toxic workplace.
Yeah, the series is all about this white collar boss/employee dynamic. Tonegawa is an upper-manager who finds himself really at the level of the people under him when he deals with The Chairman.
Also if you read the other series that I translate it's more about blue collar work where you're more like friends with your boss
