Do Japanese movie theaters actually specifically prohibit ramen and gyoza?

@K9mutt A translation suggestion/correction:
P.7 : "So it's strange that there weren't more people there, right?" should really be "Even though it was good, I wonder why no one else went to see it." What you had kind of implies that there were SOME people there, instead of none, when the Japanese reads 「面白いのになんでお客さんいなかったんだろ」which has a literal translation of "even though it was interesting, i wonder why there were no customers there." What you had blunts the intended impact a little bit.

Also, I don't think there's any specific movie being referenced. It sounds like a generic jokey line that shows up in comedy bits intended for children's audiences (unless, like you said, it's a self-reference to the movie (which I haven't seen... which came out a month ago!).

>goes into theatre with 666 as its address
>goes into auditorium 4

You couldn't ask for anything more superstitious than that...

Sitting on ghosts seems like a new kink. I bet that ghost had a good laugh when Miko got her seat wrong. I wonder what's inside of it. I wish Miko would share us the details. And I guess I can say that the movie raised the dead.

Yeah, I took more liberties with the translation than I usually do, the literal translations of some dialogue just sounded really stiff and/or repetitive in English.

You're right, Hana says that there was no one else there and then that she and Miko had a the place to themselves, but the 'no people there' sounded a bit unnatural to me? Like, Hana and Miko were there after all. I could've translated it as 'no other customers/people' now that I think about it, but I was overthinking the translation a little bit haha

I'll keep the line as it is for now, since it doesn't really change the meaning at all, but thanks for the feedback! I'm still pretty new to translating and I'm not fluent in Japanese, so this is helpful! :)

Miko please find a stronger ghost deterrent
This is what happens when she doesn't invite her tentacle girlfriend.

nice chapter but I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty disappointed that we got a filler chapter instead of following up on last chapter's cliffhanger, especially because the next chapter is two months away if we're lucky.

hey, there was an urban legend similar to this about my local movie theater. it's said that if you're in the audience for the late night screening, you'd always see a full house. but if you speak to the people who work there about it, they'd tell you that you're the only one there
