Noooo, leave dad alone! We even got to see a backstory of him and mom! ...
That probably explains why Miko can see... Since her dad could as well. Except he was a gloomy kid and didn't talk to anyone regardless.

The guy said he was "getting slower in an earlier chapter" I'm guessing because the dad is such a powerful spirit from being able to see them just as well as Miko, that makes him harder of a curse to exorcise than what he's used to, I'm guessing he'll touch him, then move away barely affected, only for the horse beast to whoop his ass 🙏🙏🙏🙏 I'm coping

Interesting flashback, and cool to see he can also see ghosts. Would he know the grandma?

Also, I vote for posting the series here or comick.io. I really like Mangadex, and it wiuld be nice to continue using it until we can no longer properly use it.

He can't actually see ghosts, so maybe he habitually purges anything he encounters, malicious or not?

I feel like this is the type of series where no named character is going to be outright malicious, instead just having different opinions and methods of dealing with the spirit world.

The big difference is now mangadex said they will not defend any scanlation group that uploads to the site. So if any litigation is filed against them, they can be down several hundred thousand dollars in court fees alone for a case they'll likely lose.
Now? They wouldn't have before. Even then, how would a scanlation group get sued?

In the worse case scenario that mangadex for some reason discloses the IP address of an uploader, that would be dismissed in court as it alone is not identifiable to an individual. If you're still super afraid they might go FBI network and traffic analysis on you, use a vpn or public wifi.

I would worry more about patreon and other services which are connected to your PayPal or bank account and are actually identifiable.

Funny that they still have the gall to ask for donations. Guess they only act like a legitimate business when it's convenient
What a sense of entitlement you have. They created a site for the community to host manga and a forum for the community to interact, hosting it largely on their own dime for years and years, taking their own legal risks all the time, and you're getting indignant because they 1) eventually asked for some help with the expensive hosting fees and 2) aren't prepared to take on everyone else's legal risk for activities that everyone else did purely on their own volition?

I just realized that when Miko's mom bangs other dudes, her dad has to watch.

The fact that you even dare speak of entitlement with regards to this means you're either totally ignorant or shameless to an inhuman degree. At least read the relevant threads before sputing nonsense (and if you had and still have the gall to write this, then simply fuck yourself, preferably sideways). The facts are as follows:

They've been accepting donations for years. While it's fine as long as it's meant for supporting the site without ulterior motives - those definitely were there. They've been planning to go "legit" for almost as long and the main motivation was building up a big enough user base for appealing to big publishers whom would buy them out (including user data). Your donations did not help maintain the site, they were just a little bonus on the investment.

They've sold out to NamiComi. While they refuse to admit it outright, it was mentioned that NamiComi would be taking over. What, we're supposed to believe a corporation is just "helping out", because they have (and I quote) "the legal framework"? I've no idea what kind of an idiot one would have to be to swallow this, but clearly the staff here sees us as such.

Legal risks? You mean like this one, where they immediately caved in and are so protective of the guys that threatened them, that they even refuse to say who it was no matter what? That and the idiotic excuses for why there was no heads-up or anything... they were willing to take no risk at all to their "legit" scheme. On the contrary, they're eager to throw anyone under the bus. I'm not even mad about it, since there was no way in hell a company from the other side of the world would actually shell out for a legal process that will gain them nothing. I just find it terribly pathetic, even more so that somene considers them heroes for such spinelessness...

Oh, so you mean the people who made the site just did it for shits and giggles, not in any way encouraging anyone to scanlate and upload here? I'm starting to think you have a stake in this little simping act, it sounds just like the BS defense the staff gave.

This. I don't get how he would know.
I think this was what was being foreshadowed in chapter 64, where the old man ghost seemingly tried to kill Miko with the falling vase, and one of Seto's helpers whispered in his ear to let him know about the attack. Earlier, he said he'd take care of the old man ghost, and he's probably at her house to see if it's there and deal with it.
