Genuinely feel like the only way this Manga could be better is if it somehow didn't need as much time between chapters to be this good, but quality does require time.

I love how the ghost in this, and honestly all the supernatural elements, just ooze creepiness, you know? Even these hat guys, they're endearing (in a way) or the little men, but they still are unsettling. I love designs like this and it really sets this manga apart.

I found the hat guys really spooky just a few chapters ago, but actually they seem to be kinda silly and goofy. Like, they were taking part of chorus they were running and generally being more like socially awkward people than monsters.

He doesn't see them, as established in the karaoke chapter with him the MiB tell him where ghosts are. You can see one talking to him in the panel before.

It's possible as well that he can hear ghosts not just the MiB.

Going off on a limb here, and theorize that before he died, Miko's father was the same as Hana, in that he had extremely potent aura just like her. And when he died he pretty much became an "alpha" spirit. What I mean by that is that other, weaker spirits automatically submit to him and obey his orders. Also because his family made a shrine for him, they accidentally managed to crate something of a holy place in their house, even further increasing her dad's power. This might be why spirits flock to Hana so much, because she too has the potential to become an "alpha". Weaker spirits are drawn to stronger ones, even if they're still alive.

They probably have different personalities, she did mention one of them liked ramen so they probably act differently when guarding her.

One of them instead pointed at Hana instead of the Spider, so this is either the Ramen lover or 2 different personalities; I wonder which way it's conveyed.
