Aw yeah the very informative chapter. Breast feeding, bed wetting, the good stuffs you know!

The last page of this chapter smells like a trap to me. I'd still be wary of the Ichijo.

I mean, if he were to accept to go back to the Sonoyama -> would he need to still act like a 5 y o once back to school ?

If he stops, wouldn't they figure out that it was all a lie? The Ichijo are probably murderers so to keep his foster parents safe maybe he'd still need to act like that.

Also, the re-education room / torture room is the same one where the mother of the twins were kept up. Was she "reeducated"?

But reeducation =/= death I think. Because otherwise the mother would have been killed way before she had the kids. She only got killed "after" she tried to escape. Furthermore, remember the day of the fire? https://mangadex.org/chapter/459817 in this page https://s2.mangadex.org/data/a5cff0cee5e289b0e63cb4a0dde578cb/z9.jpg we see the Ichigo little girl "surveying" the surveillance dolls who were muttering stuffs like "We'll be able to escape from the back" "We'll get caught doing that". In the Mi-chan heads off chapter https://mangadex.org/chapter/745868, we see that those dolls are now "hidden", maybe it is a sign that they are now "dead"?

The dolls also don't seem to be as supernatural as we are being led to believe first see https://s0.mangadex.org/data/544064e4c5a079f3e5e848cd611f34fe/Y32.jpg See how "Michan"'s doll eyes were really closed together. Looks like to be a GPS system of some sort. Also here https://s0.mangadex.org/data/544064e4c5a079f3e5e848cd611f34fe/Y33.jpg it can be seen that all the dolls were handmade, as the tables that surround the diorama are DRAFTING tables. The Ichijo is a family of "psychologist" and a wife that goes to community organizer center. So who is the architect? Did they kidnap somebody to do that? Is "psychologist" only a front? Why is "Oregon village" in which the characters live filthy rich? https://s0.mangadex.org/data/11faf90146de106f1af7f40fb8d8125e/k10.jpg. Maybe there's some weird contraband shit going on?

If there is a need to "reeducate", I think it's because that someone wronged the Ichijo in a way.

Since "Hitori" got "reeducated" for "theft", what could the mother be in there for? From the photos of the past she seems to be getting along with the Ichijo, until something something happened which made her all locked up (the reeducation room seems like a staple to "put people in their place"). A detail from this chapter is interesting: Why is Eiji's name not Eiichi? Maybe because he wasn't actually the first son? If I put the two together, maybe the twins' mom wronged the Ichijo family by doing the adultery with the Ichijo dad? The twins are also made to be the same age as Eiji, which might be intentionally left ambiguous that they might be actually older than Eiji. Why did the twins' mom hid her kids under the bed while she was being "reeducated"? Maybe she was trying to keep it a secret that she had twins? Or maybe if the Ichijo wife saw them she would go batshit insane?

Why is the dad never present at home during the reeducation phase? Maybe the Ichijo guessed that the twins are actually the son of the housemaid who died (since they had that button). Which explains from the incident why they stopped hiring any house maid under the age of 50 since the "incident". The Ichijo mom was probably wary that the dad might slip off some stuffs seeing that the twins might be his actual sons (so she can't proceed with the "reeducation" with the dad being present).

I reread the previous chapter https://mangadex.org/chapter/639550 where the Ichijo had baited the Sonoyama into coming the den and did not notice the dad there either. But in the next chapter when the Ichijo were having their usual dinner, the dad was present https://mangadex.org/chapter/642630 . It feels like the dad is probably being kept intentionally unaware? Or is he feeling possible guilt if the "Hitori" boy was actually his illegitimate son? Is he trying to "wash his hands" away from the control freak mother's mess?

Also, it is very possible that the Ichijo knew that "Hitori" is not just one, but two people from this chapter https://mangadex.org/chapter/639550. See how "every door is being locked" once Dari went investigating the house and felt that it was "fishy"? It's like they expected an co-conspirator (the fire perpetrator) ever since the fire happened (when the fire happened, the doors were NOT locked). Was Eiji expecting the fire perpetrator to be in cahoot? Very likely as he even mentions it here https://s2.mangadex.org/data/30e037f85d8ee7c1a5f887130809c781/g11.jpg .

Can't wait for the next chapter. Thank you scanlation group for the hard work! It's the best manga I've found out this year and deserves way more views.

Migi's face was moe af when he realized Dari was under the table. Very heart-warming moment when they were holding hands under the table and met in the bathroom.
I love this series so much. Thank you for the regular releases @justtio!
