Kazuki and Niko at least would probably need to take time to learn new routines. Since it's an important event they probably can't reuse something they've done before. For Miwa, I guess it depends on how good the school's shogi members are and how familiar she is with their playstyles.

The arc started maybe mid to late autumn and the festival takes place sometime in December, so the chairwoman probably dropped this on them with only maybe two or three weeks til the festival so they probably would need to focus on preparing their own acts.

Yeah, there's no way that they can just ad lib something. The event is specifically the 100th anniversary of a prestigious school with plenty of public attention, so they can't half ass it, especially with their standing and reputation as the three emperors.

And even without that, it doesn't really seem to be in their nature to take half-measures anyways. They tend to go all out and take pride in whatever they do.

theres no... standard for what would be expected, theres no "well it wasnt as good as the last time niko danced on stage" theres nothing to "one up", theres no need to innovate or do anything outside the box, any performance they give will be the best one man show they've ever done

kazuki could literally just take like any monologue from any play or movie and just deliver it

as long as her acting is as good as it always is, as long as nikos moves are as polished as they always are, as long as miwa wins all the games nothing else would actually matter
