I think what you're seeing is the official LLM-translated one ("Translation and lettering by Shogakukan" instead of, y'know, the name of a human being who knows Japanese and English). I was hoping for the unofficial translation to continue because I find the official one to be stiff. A lot of small stylistic changes that bug me too, iirc.
