Going back and looking closer at the panels, I think that's an aluminum pan, or a stainless steel at the worst. Assuming this lady has stereotypical housewife level strength, I'd contend it's not terribly dangerous – it's pretty lightweight. It'd still hurt being popped with one of those things, leave one heck of a bump – but I wouldn't immediately be worried about skull fracture or anything life threatening like I would if that thing was cast iron (like I first thought).

Still probably a bit concussed though. So he should to take it easy the next couple of days. Small concussions can still really mess you up if you get a second or third before the first has healed.
