Peak. Wife. Protect. Nothing else needs to be said.
That is darkYeah, this is too dark for me... It has a comedy tag, but it should be a "black comedy" tag.
According to the Korean Wiki She has had half her face burnt off with sulphuric acid by jealous bullies and so she uses her large chest to try and keep the childhood friend interested in her...
I fucking hate authors that make fmc's suffer or be disgusting I hope it's not some whore or SA backstoryYeah. This is a clear example of clinical depression if I ever seen one. The hunched shoulders, the defensive posture and negative reinforcement.
All we now are waiting for is the complete meltdown.
Probable trigger: Unconformable growth spurt, hormone imbalance or traumatic experience.
The MC will probably need some therapy done himself after this one is finished.
Like the subtle changes and micro mood swings though. It's not overly dramatic. Which most depressions aren't.
Umm excuse wtf i dont see da similarities nglIt's been bothering me for a while how the heroine remind me of someone but now I remember!
She kinda look like Touka from Tokyo Ghoul. It's the bang and her eyes.
Whats your problem dude? he clearly regrets whatever happened to her and he knows he doesn't deserve her but now he's doing everything to protect her and make her happy this was a kids mistake not some serious bs you are thinking of right now stop overthinking that much all tho it's a trauma and a scar things like that go away in the future besides the scar she probably won't remember anything by her 20 why do you think bullied kids live their life's normally after finishing school? It's because after they change their surroundings they have nothing to fear nor a need to care about those people form the pastI'm at chapter 6 and I'm already mad at this protagonist.
He ignored — or simply failed to notice — her feelings for so long that she went from being a smart and super popular girl to someone introverted, with no self-esteem and constantly afraid of losing him. Maybe it happened because he never noticed anything or gave her any kind of sign that he liked her — not even as a friend — until now.
Honestly, it feels like a toxic relationship between two weird characters. Like, the guy knows she's afraid of losing him, knows she doesn’t like it when he talks to other girls, and still hasn’t made the connection? I find that hard to believe.
The visuals are pretty, and there are some cute moments.
But the story doesn't seem to be going anywhere. He actively tries not to give her too much attention and still finds her behavior “cute.” I don’t know — it gives off the vibe that he enjoys the emotional dependence she has on him. He caused her issues and still doesn’t have the courage to —take responsibility— like so many manga/anime characters talk about.
And honestly, like others have pointed out, calling this a comedy just feels wrong. That’s a joke in itself — it’s just sad.
Like, the —comedy— seem to be the girl doing basic things wrong, have a horrible past of being bullied or overreacting out of fear of losing the only person she has around her?😢😭😢😭
And the worst part: based on the title, it makes it seem like he knows she’s in love with him, and yet he still chooses to ignore it just because he sees himself as unworthy or something — God, this guy is awful. He seems to view her as “the mentally unstable mess with love that’s way too heavy for me” when in reality she has LITERALLY DONE NOTHING WRONG OR STRANGE YET — at most, she just asks for a lot of attention. And honestly? That’s the bare minimum, considering he’s the only person she has.
