I remember someone posted a situation like this that happened to them. He remembered some movie or TV show he saw and quickly took off his shirt, tied one of his sleeves into a knot, then put the shirt back on to make it seem like he was missing an arm then walked out confidently.

Then one of his friends later told him no normal person would actually do that sleeve tying thing for a polo shirt Lol, so it probably gave him away or the wheelchair guy probably just didn't pay attention or didn't really care.
