Damn you, google! Hope your AI collapses your platform.
congrats on typing all that out by yourself and even managing to find a non-ai picturei actually use the AI overview pretty often. it's helpful

yeah, that's exactly what everyone is sayingOne guy says i actually dont mind ai and theres like 10 comments calling him a monster. Society or something
As they should. Apathy or worse, acceptance, towards ideas and technologies that actively degrade society should not be tolerated.AOne guy says i actually dont mind ai and theres like 10 comments calling him a monster. Society or something
Trusst me, it's always works.Thats like jacking up a product's price by 300% then having a "50% off sale!".
Herd logic and hide behind online status, no one want to admit they forget the one giving commands to AI is a person like them, now we cannot have thief call others thief right? One guy says i actually dont mind ai and theres like 10 comments calling him a monster. Society or something
interesting. I point out that people get hostile over even mild opinions on AI, and your response is to insult me instead of the argument. Thats a pretty good example of what i meant.yeah, that's exactly what everyone is saying
jeez, did chatgpt teach you this prosecution complex, or is that the one thing you managed to come up with on your own?
you a debate bro or smth? this is a manga comment section, and you're mad that people don't like your shitty tech that's being pushed onto everyone at the cost of everythinginteresting. -How do I disable AI overview on mobile?
You can't
-How do I desable auto translation in Google?
You can't.
-How do I disable YT auto translating everything on mobile?
You can't.
At least there's browser extensions on PC
For those actually wanting to know how to review the ai overview:
Add "-ai" without the quotes in your search
It's annoying but it works for now
Answer #1: Don't use Google. It's garbage these days, anyway.
Answer #2: Use Ublock Plus's element picker to manually pick and disable the AI elements.
Brave browser's Content Filters can block a lot things including that "AI overview".. A goated browser
https://www.google.com/search?udm=14&q=<whatever your search is>In case anyone is wondering and Ublock; there's an "AI Widgets" FilterList to filter it out.
Also, adding "-ai" sometimes works.
No it doesn’t. Source: I’m French and live in France, and still have that AI shit. There is a way to turn it off, simply set your search location In account settings to France. Gets rid of the Ai overview completely.
These are two different things. I have no problem with the technology of jet propulsion for airplanes, but I’d definitely have a problem with corpos putting a fucking jet propeller on every single item they make because they think it makes their shit look more modern. But i don't see a single problem with the technology itself and it's widespread usage.
It’s “persecution” complex. “Prosecution” is about bringing someone to court.yeah, that's exactly what everyone is saying

Are you seriously surprised that - lets be honest, rather revolutionary technology - caused corporations all over the world to scramble and see how they can implement and profit off of it? IMO It's completely normal that they start throwing money at it to see what sticks. We are still mostly in uncharted territory, sooner or later market will mature and determine which of these ideas are profitable and which are a complete waste of money. Like how it happened with thousands of other technologies in the past. These are two different things. I’m not surprised but definitely pissed that corps and government agencies scramble – as you say – to use a technology without asking themselves even a single second whether it is relevant to use said technology (does my social security really need to have a LLM to tell me I have to go to a general practitioner before seeing a specialist?), and whether the very well known risks and negative externalities are worth giving giga-boomer vibes by using brand new technology somewhere it’s definitely not needed. Are you seriously surprised that - lets be honest, rather revolutionary technology - caused corporations all over the world to scramble and see how they can implement and profit off of it?
