I feel called out, typing this on my decade-old "high end but still budget gaming" laptop with my "brand new" one right next to me waiting for me to figure out which OS to upgrade to from Win11. (I'm thinking Win10 but may go with a Linux distro like Nobara or SteamOS)

Old one just survived the third re-pasting and fan cleaning endeavor but the graphics card, fan motors, and general firmware aren't going to work for too much longer.
