Hareta looked like was about to absolutely ravish Misaki for a panel there (before he closed his eyes). Too bad for him he can't. Yet?
But our strongest soldier is definitely Fujimiya at the end. I could hear her heart breaking from here yet she still managed to smile. Or sort of smile. I feel for her.

Gosh I had thought that an anime adaptation ending at vol 3 would be a good stopping point, but no. Vol 4 ending is peak. Depends on how many volumes are left, tho. If every year is four volumes, then season 1 ending at vol 4 feels very fitting. I just worry that the pacing may be rushed. I've been fantasizing about a hypothetical anime adaptation of this manga and squeezing ten chapters into three episodes feels tight.
