So our Grey Wolf somehow became this new woman's bodyguard and found her way onto the ship. Of course her GF noticed her nearly immediately, even with the hat and mask. I can't wait for her to interrupt whatever bullshit this auction will be. I'm just not sure how they'll do it, since we don't know how the auction will go yet.

Also I thought people believe she was engaged to her friend? How can she be auctioned off without consideration for that anyway? I guess the aunt knows that's not real though, but others?

The woman was her old employer who ran the Wolf mercenary group. She isn’t from nobility, but she has a lot of influence in the black market and underground. So an illegal auction wouldn’t be too hard to score an invite to. And yes, Jian Jun did have a fiancée, but what her aunt wants is an heir, someone she can mould from a young age that won’t cause as much problems as her mother and ensure the lineage. And unfortunately for that she needs a man.
