Can we just add a tag or two to the options the first of which would basically translate to:
Misunderstanding/s
-Stories containing copious amounts of extremely derived misunderstandings that move the plot along in place of original ideas and/or good writing.

And respectively a tag for stories, typically romance focused ones, where instead of constant lazy derived misunderstandings you have one big one at the end that creates faux stakes that typically drive the plot in the final arc which could've been avoided if the writer had a brain. Don't know how to distinguish this second one from the first, though I guess they could both be under the same monicker.

Would really help me to stop wasting my time with hack writers.

I mean, you'd have to use it on every romcom at this point.
What's a good romcom without its spoonful of misunderstandings? :pepehmm::meguusmug:

Misunderstandings aren't necessarily bad, but when they're never cleared up because of a nonsense reason, just to leave us in constant anticipation... Usually they give us a glimmer of hope too, then bam, they just can't talk about the problem anymore because they're not written to do so, which indeed feels very forced and bad to read most of the time.

The issue isn't with the rythmic but more with the authors' skills at this point, and that, you have to try to read and see if it's good or not, can't avoid it. You'll get better at eliminating this type of writing over time.
Just hope it doesn't become even more popular :lul:

Isn't that just Comedy + Romance + Shounen + Suggestive? Normally the description boasts about being a revolutionary comedy (even without the Romance tag) or an extremely original romcom/isekai. I don't know how but I just manage to avoid those series, must be the work of a wizard.
You could have any of those tags and could end up with a story that doesn't contain contrived misunderstandings. It might be unlikely, I don't know for sure, but a separate tag would remove any guess work.
