I mean, she told him her name when she met him,and i'm guessing his name is left out for the better pov experience. This looks like common scam phone in Japan where the caller say "hey, it's me it's me you remember ?"
gurl.....
Just say your name and call his name, or calling the place. Easy, and she won't be misunderstood as scammer or landmine
oh, I see. I started reading it and thought the writing and setting was significantly different even if the characters look and feel similar. The author of the novel does a good job setting up his concerns about her, with him describing her eyes and smile as dark, eerie and beautiful, while his uncle, who was messing around with multiple women, keeps telling him to be warry from his own experience. The writing in this one feels more like they were just thrown together by comparison. That's a different series written by Aizuki Kaname, who is not the author of this webcomic. The manga that's actually related to that novel is this oneshot.
While that novel and this webcomic do have different authors, they do have the same artist: tetto is also the illustrator for the novel you linked. You probably thought it looked familiar because of tetto's art style and that both female leads wear Jirai-kei fashion.
They do have very similar clothing styles and slightly less similar hairstyles, but their eye and hair colors are noticeably different; I did a quick lookup on the novel and the dark brown-haired girl in the LN is named Amane Raihara (雷原 甘音) while the pink-haired girl in this manga is named Hinami Hinamizawa (雛見沢 ヒナミ).oh, I see. I mean, she literally does that in the very first pane….gurl, maybe start with introducing your name. that will save you lot of time and heartbreak 😭😂
She introduce herself with her name, Hinami, and the dude didn't recognize her. Like yeah it is one thing to not recognize someone who has probably changed a lot but with the added name to it just makes it likely that it isn't her childhood friend.gurl, maybe start with introducing your name. that will save you lot of time and heartbreak 😭😂
