Ditto on both accounts. Maybe "a runner rushed forward" is Touma screwing with the pitcher's head?

I hope my speculation is right, and it distracts the pitcher enough to airmail it. Otherwise the apparent pitchout the other team is planning, leads to a pickle which would at least get the guy on third. (I've seen it go even worse, if things get confused.)

Funny about what Touma did… I just saw a video from Bauer (currently pitching for the Yokohama BayStars) complaining about how Japanese batters are really good at this.

Last, and least: Not a fan of our dear laissez-faire coach, but he's right to gripe about how slow the guy is when he gets thrown out at home. That's pretty rough, on a bounder that sails over the pitcher.
