Well, this was an unexpected explanation. Two chapters before that one, I commented that it was bothering me that he was having zero reactions about her death.

i don't even know what is going on anymore, mc doesn't seen to care that much about the real miyu-chan but for some reason he is still kind of chained by her past self

No one mentioned the shirt? Really?

I'm on board it's the MC train and like a good liar, the first person you fool is yourself. If you believe the lie, embody the lie, live the lie, the truth is killed. Truly a Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde.

Yeah, good call. This definitely lends weight to the "main character killed OG Miyu".

I'm glad they got to the real plot, but it still seems a little boring. somehow even though it has a premise now which should provide tension and intrigue "find the killer", it still feels too gentle and lacking in thriller atmosphere

it's too soft and dull . the author is squandering the premise. he needs to either make miyu more edgy or add some more threat from the murderer or up the ecchi

I find him still considering his character change to be "fake" kinda weird. If you are influenced by something/someone in your formative years and change your system of values, that is not "fake", that is a new "real you" now.

The plot thickens.

And my

senses are tingling. I put my bet on the homeroom teacher.
Yes exactly. Glad to find someone else who agrees. It’s a stupid trope
