Guy gets parried by three people, gets manhandled by someone twice his size, audibly is in earshot of being told that he is going to be subdued with permission from the person he's attempting to attack, and still thinks it's a smart idea to scream I'ma kill ya. If they don't properly subdue him and he pops back up at a later time being more of a threat, then I blame the inability and lack of judgment of everyone involved.

If she's successful with her ways, the definition of 'slaves' will slowly start to distort from expendable physical labor into valuable workforce in the community. But it's more likely that those slaves will feel empowered, start a revolt, and then taken down before we can reach that kind of hopeful ending.

He wasn't antagonizing him he was reminding him of his place as a slave.

He cant go and join some other gang he is a slave and given how he just acted he will be lucky if he lives at all it will also serve as a good lesson to the mc if he does die.

Edit: going back and rereading pakis isn't a slave he is just a kid of the boss but I assume the boss knows he acts like a brat and was hoping he might learn a bit from the mc. Instead he is just likely to get a beating I doubt the boss is gonna be soft even on his kid since it could have cost him a valuable asset.

I get you~ frim is really annoying when she keeps on sparing Pakis for no good reason, clearly only setting herself up for tragedy in the future (or at best, delaying it until it happens anyway). Any unhappy life she gets is kinda self-deserved, since she tenderly crafts and raises the destruction-flags all by her lonesome.
While talareen is - as far as we have seen so far - just someone in a pitiable position (with far better quality clothes and health than any of her slave-peers, which suggests she is in a position of power over the rest of them), so wishing her some luck makes sense. Particularly as she won't just instantly waste it.

I hope it doesn't devolve with Pakis being a reoccurring villain, I hope that he's a problem now but is dealt with sufficiently that will make it so that he's unlikely to appear again as a threat.
