since he can copy even the things dissolved in the water, surely he can do solids with some tricks too.
like, pretty much all solid get liquid when heated up enough.
so if he wants to, he could duplicate liquid gold. and since everything he duplicates seem to appear at room temperature, he would create a solid rod of metal.
