She wasn't pretending. There was a flashback chapter where mc was much shorter and younger than FMC , she hasn't aged a single bit compared to the flashback chapter. She looked like 12 back then when MC looked like he was 8. So now she is short because of this, when MC looks like 14 yo right now.

So we know her appearance either doesn't age. Or ages infinitely more slowly.

True. But she never disclosed her age did she? Also I think mc simply assumed her age.

There is a subtle difference between asking her age and being lied to and assuming her age from her appearance. My memory doesn't recall her saying her age, fake or real.

You'll excuse me if she did introduce herself with her age and I missed that part.
