I wasn't gonna bother watching it cause I hate anything Shonen Junk but I'm ngl the PV IS kinda cool. I like how Mookie looks.

Are you gonna wake up to see these games? I honestly don't know if I will. I didn't watch the Korean series last season cause I was too lazy lol, but since it's in Japan this time I might actually think about it. Last time I woke up at ass o'clock to watch a baseball game was during the WBC so it's been a while

I'll probably just watch the highlights. The Cubs don't strike me as a playoff team. They'll just be fodder to the Dodgers LMFAO

Maybe, if they had the Phillies or the Yankees, but not for this mid-level team.

No offense to @Angry_Panda 🙏

We'll see - the preseason consensus seems to be the Cubs are the NL Central winners. I don't think they would go very far into the playoffs, but they should get a ticket to October this year. (And yeah, the Dodgers are stacked.)

Plus, early season baseball still has some of that spring training, 'anything can happen' vibe - I'd put the over/under for total errors during these two games at about 6. It should be entertaining baseball, even if it's not quite midseason form for either team. And with the Tokyo Dome being a bit of a bandbox compared to both Wrigley Field and Dodger Stadium, should be plenty of longball potential off of pitchers who aren't quite tuned up yet.

Anybody watching the Fox or SportsNet LA coverage of the game this morning? I can say the Marquee (Cubs TV) team is... being kind of stupid with the need to jam in cultural bits between the actual game.
