The rod he got, for sure is less than 200,000. Why the f-ck would you tell a seller how much you have without even asking for the price of the item first? Just goddamn retarded. It's like buying a supercar and saying you only have 1 million and wondering if it's enough. Not all supercars are over 1 million. Just because it looks expensive doesn't mean it's that expensive. He might've been able to buy a better weapon.

This is so dumb, why not just go to a hardware store and by a crowbar? It'd be waaay cheaper and more effective. Also being scammed at a store should instantly make him never go back there..... Also protecting his ultra attacky/tanky summon like that is dumb just so they can have the "UWU he protec me, I must be loyal forever"

Sheesh, reading this is reminding me why I read more manhwa than manga nowadays.
Sure, manhwa are full of their own overly-abused tropes, but at least they're generally free of these pathetic brain-dead protagonists that Japanese authors seem to be obsessed with.

I see a lot of prior comments bashing the MC as being an idiot. I mean the MC is a young kid and not at all savvy (I mean, my god, look at him try to lie to Ms. Hitsugaya, the guild rep). Getting ripped off by an older (and far more experienced) merchant is going to happen. And he's never wielded weapons or armor in the dungeon before, so how is he supposed to know better? The equipment worked in some circumstances (shield bashing the goblin, reach attacks with the rod against the gobs and skellies) and not in others. It basically seems like people learn through experience rather than information from a guild or other organization. As for his interactions with Sylphy--he's treating her as a human girl and not as a living weapon. I honestly would think less of him if he depended on her all the time. I like the idea that he's trying to level so that he can fight by her side rather than just standing behind her.

There is a difference between being young and inexperienced and being an idiot. Many years ago when I was 16 and decided to buy my first wallhanger katana and they didn't have price tags, I asked for the price. It's common sense.
The sylph summon card is totally wasted on MC. Any competent character would have already cleared the dungeon with her by now.
It's another slop isekai that won't go anywhere. I wonder why it's so hard to find any decent isekai nowadays. Why is every mangaka so incompetent. Yeah dropped.
