Seems they have a set amount of energy for the first summon and demon lady hasn't used it all up yet unlike when Silphy descended with her goddess form and used up her energy in a single instant.

Their small form is basically an energy saver mode.

The demon's true form wouldn't be as draining as the goddess' too, so maybe she can be big for longer.

That's because, decision like censorship or design changes is based on the production company, not the animation studio or the original author and artists.

Because they are dirty Heretics. Some is still there at least, a certain other Servant will be flat as a Board anyway which is ironic considering how she looks at the moment.

More like one is going to kill the other. (If only.) The demon flaunts her "immortality" as she does but she apparently only has regeneration--which is not the same, though her type likes to pretend it is: if Sylphy followed up to finish the job on what's left, we'd see how little the demon could regenerate from--or if she could regenerate from the nothing she'd become.

If she has HP like Sylphy does, and her state after Sylphy's last attack was any indication, she'd end up zeroing out pretty fast.

Spoiler: Speculation

That is, unless she has some kind of special ability that keeps her HP at zero and/or low and renders her as undead as her spellborn thralls, with damage being taken by something else in her HP's place.

This chapter-long fight is ultimately pointless and could've been easily avoided.

I really don't get how people don't take issue with the quality of the writing here.

Edit: coming back here after reading the three chapters of this pointless fight and some more, i can wholeheartedly say that i enjoyed the writing after this fight much more than throughout it, and the things that happened could've been implemented in the plot better regardless of this fight's existence.
