It was so boring to sit through one episode of the anime, let alone three (I quit after that, because it seemed like the worst way of getting spoiled). All you see is boring grind, dull conversations, lame action, a ton of filler, irrelevant high school randos, while the actually fun characters like the macho shopkeeper aren't there. What a way to mismanage the IP.
The funny faces in this chapter alone provide more enjoyment than everything that happened in those animated episodes.

Gods, this have to be one of if not THE dumbest protag I've had the displeasure of reading about. If it wasn't for the supporting cast, I would most likely have dropped this.

And thank you for your services those who watched the anime, was on the fence about watching since I hated the redesign but now I'm not even going to bother. Rather keep watching an adorable villainess become a better heroine than the heroine.

Did the manga showed what should happen later in the story of LN or this one is an original story?

Not exactly.
The whole Luceria arc in manga doesn't happen in anime; he summons Luceria, without much hesitation or problems, in episode 2. If anything, the manga cut off his interactions with the Katsuragi girl, which... honestly speaking, are no loss at all. (It does explain his motivation, but still...)
Otherwise, the manga follows the original storyline more or less faithfully.

Another day of appreciating fun comedy and nice artstyle. Ppl talked bad about both anime and LN, I think it is nice that the author is working with the mangaka to turn a supposed draft into a bonafide fun manga. Rather than critizizing the obviously bad things, I would like to keep liking my nice thing more. Now that I think about it, it is surprising how simple light hearted comedy really helps keep me reading a manga for longer. Hope someone will request SL for the manga.

On another note, I am really pissed that both this and the other 'mob with summoned girls in dungeon' manga(that I forgot the name of) I read both have the MC still hoping for his crush rather than romance with the girls who he has a constant relationship with. I really hate it ngl, it feels like the entire manga is pointless for the sake of that one girl who appears once in a while, and 50% of that is flashback. It is really dumb.

Thanks for translating.... and socks to see you go.... I tried reading the WN and it's got nothing on the manga. Maybe the LN version will be better? I haven't seen it though.

Edit: briefly glimpse the anime. Pretty sure its going off WN or maybe even the LN... major differences. For one the MC just summons devil immediately and she's a loli. We did have a long winded fight in the manga, but it was definitely a "do or die" situation and felt compelling for me to go through... manga goated?

I decided to watch the anime adaption since the last chapter & my god it wasn't that great. Idk about the source material but it either skipped bunch of stuff to finish the arc it was at or it went completely anime original. It is not the worst thing to watch but I don't recommend watching it unless want time waster & be disappointed. Also to note they changed Sylphy's design so be prepared.

I was confused when you said they changed her design. I boot up the first episode and lo and behold she doesn't have her bountiful oppais. They took away one of the reasons I adore her character (Outside of her cute loli design and sweet disposition.) I will say some parts of the armor redesign I like but still the manga is superior.

Not touching that garbage sticking to the manga.

I'm not watching anime practically but what you say i'm pretty much reminded of the absolute dogshit adaptation of Tensei Kenja that was absolute utter low budget dogshit that completely changed the story, i'm sad to have seen that (i think i only watched it because it was on leftflix)

Oh, it was much worse than that😓. Not only was it low budget, they took away everything good that we see in the manga (like the comedic faces). Rather than an adaptation, it felt like an entirely different project, and it was completely geared for an entirely different audience: elementary children! The nerfing didn't stop at only her, the whole damn project was nerfed😭!

It's really strange actually. The anime adapted the LN, which is based on a WN, and both are quite awful. This manga is a huge improvement both in plot, characters and art. Not sure what exactly happened here, but it's very unusual.

To be honest I like the characters except for the MC... its condensed trash... doesn't have a redeem quality, no charisma, intelligence, strength, endurance, insight or wisdom... just pure raw dumb luck, and it's always carried by others...
There's a difference, for example in konosuba the MC knows his limits but he compensates this with intelligence, traps, and tricks and yeah some luck also, but it's not like luck only carries him, like with this MC.

so it's not that surprising why this was dropped... as I said I really wanted some development but from the start, I was starting to really hate on the MC and his pure dumb luck. So yeah even if this somehow gets picked again by someone else, I'm dropping it as well...
I don't understand how people like this kind of character? Are japanese that indulgent nowadays? with the severe competence in stories to get picked?
I just don't understand how this can get a pass and become "somewhat famous" while some good stories that should have been picked are buried. I mean no offense to the guys who like this, but it feels like "People bury the treasure, and praise the trash."

I was hoping for some kind of development... but it's like giving undeserved power-ups to a trash character that only has luck on his side and somehow things work out...

Well... hope you guys don't get triggered, but this was my sincere opinion of this...

Please spoil me and tell me if he gets some development later... because from what I am seeing not even gods can save his own foolishness

I did tried... to see something on the MC but no... hence my comment.

Even the shopkeeper seems like a better protagonist than the protagonist himself.
