I think that's what makes a good story. (Plus a lot of mc are kinda boring)The villain is more interesting than the mc. In my honest opinion.
Is it just me?
Yeah, I was honestly surprised by how well it worked / didn't feel forced despite being MTL.You sonnuvabitch, MTL and yet you still managed to make it rhyme.
You magnificent bastard, keep on the good work!
Probably the folklore of it also make it more interesting, most of the time villain based on folklore give more depth of it if you at least know the general idea of how the folklore stories goes. At least in my opinion, so between 10 chapter old mc vs villain based on folklore, id say villain winThe villain is more interesting than the mc. In my honest opinion.
Is it just me?
That usually means there is nothing new to learn about the hero. The MC has no depth, no long term goals, or the audience already knows the MC exceedingly well. By contrast the villain is a new entity and/or has an unknown play they are pursuing. So there is something new for the audience to be interested in.The villain is more interesting than the mc. In my honest opinion.
Is it just me?
I rolled my eyes when I saw that the enemy was the pied piper of hamelin. I've seen this character in many other mangas/animes, so it's a little overused at this point. I don't really understand what is the direction the author is trying to go by using folkloric characters. If he will just use them without connecting to anything, I would rather have a generic but original enemy. The villain is more interesting than the mc. In my honest opinion.
