The red haired school girl seems to be his opponent from semi final (her LN Vol.3 cover designs matches her Manga designs which we seen on the cover of Manga Vol.5).
Seems like she becomes a recurring character.

It's supposed to be "Anna Kanou" not Anna Jushichiya.

Basically next chapter he's gonna use the Amrita he got on her and she suddenly transformed into a higher goddess and beat the guy. This shit has lasting consequences since there hasn't been a recorded case of evolving a card without another higher card and this evolution is only temporary. He basically discovered MEGA Evolution. The condition for this is that a card must have a regression skill, the card is named and a key item. In Renka's case it's the Amrita. The reason no one discover it before is because few people actually wants a card with regression skills since they have lower base stats compared to card of the same species, and second it's highly discouraged to name a card since the card value depreciates when named as they can no longer be used as revive cards so it's only common practice to name cards that are strong so that they can be revive. Also a card can refuse to be named too.

Utamaro became a celebrity and joined the school upper social caste and confesses to the black haired girl but she rejected him after that he realizes there's more to being a riajuu and that being popular isn't equal to a riajuu. After that volume 1 of the Web Novel Ends. The later volumes are crazy and it's genuinely one of the best low fantasy adventurer series out there as yes Utamaro is getting too strong by the current volumes but he's doing so by fully utilizing his cards ability synergies and tactics and he's literally becoming less human. Although he's strong he understands his limits and doesn't want to resort to violence but when he does you fucking bet he will flex his muscles hard, one scene in volume 7 get him tangled with the authorities and he summons all his B ranks to flex on them
