Feels like the manga turns off the MC's brain even more than the novel. Even if he's willing not to think about it, he still had to explain to the guards that SOMETHING punched the bandits hard enough to wreck the chapel.

He can just go and say 'the angel descended form the Heavens' and live it like that.

In this universe goddess clearly exists and Reina was shown to have her blessings, so I don't see why would this excuse not work?
