I don't really mind their relationship going either way, and heck, I do prefer if it went the father-daughter route, but I sincerely hope that the people going "hurr durr it's just another Usagi Drop" leave so they can find another series that they'll actually enjoy. I understand that it's literally the third chapter so it's too early to tell, but it's heavily hinted what their relationship will be (or at least what she wishes, a romantic relationship) in chapter two.

I also understand that complaining can be fun too though.

There's no reason to stick around if that's the end conclusion, and still complain about it.

But for now, a story that started as "look st my cute adopted daughter", is turning into usagi drop, and this is prime time to bitch about it.
