Yep. I remember reading this hoping that it wouldn't end up being the MC and saintess, but nope, they end up together (after the saintess grows up, so basically Usagi Drop) with the saintess being a yandere.

There other story's were the MC essentially becomes an adoptive father to a child. Like my daughter is a s ranked adventurer she's a father con and even tries to find him a wife.
Or diez from 0 population he adopted two Elf children and raises them as his own.
There also one other that I cant remember the name of but a mercenary that fakes his own death then gets news after settling back down in his home village that he had a daughter and just decides that he now has a daughter and raises her as such.
Those are a few stories I can recall that have a adoptive daughter family flow to them. No romance.
Im sure there a few others but those are some examples and I hope this one is also a family manga.

Last I remember it happens pretty fast. About by the time of her going to the royal academy or whatever it's called, it already happened by then. I think. Not sure if I remember correctly, it's been a while since I read that part. Unless you're saying the manga is going to get dropped or go on hiatus or something before that happens, which... who knows. I can't tell the future.
