There other story's were the MC essentially becomes an adoptive father to a child. Like my daughter is a s ranked adventurer she's a father con and even tries to find him a wife.
Or diez from 0 population he adopted two Elf children and raises them as his own.
There also one other that I cant remember the name of but a mercenary that fakes his own death then gets news after settling back down in his home village that he had a daughter and just decides that he now has a daughter and raises her as such.
Those are a few stories I can recall that have a adoptive daughter family flow to them. No romance.
Im sure there a few others but those are some examples and I hope this one is also a family manga.

Last I remember it happens pretty fast. About by the time of her going to the royal academy or whatever it's called, it already happened by then. I think. Not sure if I remember correctly, it's been a while since I read that part. Unless you're saying the manga is going to get dropped or go on hiatus or something before that happens, which... who knows. I can't tell the future.

And Clael remains oblivious the entire time, of course, about to the extent of "Man, I really wonder what it was she meant when she said 'sleeping together in a cramped tent would be fun' and 'I won't be alone with any man other than Clael-sama'... Oh well, I'm sure it's fine and she doesn't think anything of me!"
