Instead of yelling that the mods "refused" to do something you think they should of done, you could just ask about it.

Most of the time with situations like this it's a mod or even several mods that have a different opinion, or didn't feel that there is a solid enough justification for making a change.

While I agree this title probably shouldn't be tagged as girls' love, I do understand why other may have a different opinion.

This narrative and threesome is basically what they did in hentai before the mid 2000s and the yuri part is a joke, not a bait. So basically an harem with double NTR to add them as his personal slaves, so at most you could tag it as bisexual. In hentai sites exist a different tag for this kind of doujinshi different to yuri (or girls love), and considering how Mangadex works it is not proper to tag it as such. It happens with both SFW and NSFW titles, but since not everyone has yuri knowledge and functional yuri glasses then it is bound to repeat. This series falls under the same category and shouldn't have the yuri tag either (worse even, it's only because of one panel, but I already explained that there). If it helps with this title in particular, you can check the genres from the seller and the original post + raw.

My god, the plot itself is irrelevant. The tags are content descriptors. Just as it doesn't matter whether a rape scene is actually a dream or not, it doesn't matter why there are females in an homosexual relationship depicted having sex. What does matter is being able to filter it in or out, and since MD isn't a porn website such as exhentai with a highly granular tagging system, GL alone will have to do. Tag also present on exhentai by the way, I wonder why. 🧑‍🦼

This take is such a high level of double standards it's preposterous. If those two women had been men shown having anal sex and/or sucking each other's dick, the BL tag would have been slapped twice. And it would have been right, as not everyone wants to see that.

I put all the links so you could compare (the publisher doesn't categorise it as yuri but the scanlator did, and I always was told that publishers take precedence), and basically said that if "bisexual" tag were added it could be filtered out more precisely as they do with girls/boys love so people don't see them. And well, you made it clear that the tags are being used to filter out regarding sensibilities and not actually making it easier to find titles with the desired content, so in that sense you don't need to make any changes. No need to make retorts or being arrogant, you want to protect sensibilities and I want people to find the desired content easier, we have different objectives. This way people who want to read yuri (hentai or not, same example for other niche genres) come across with series with elements they don't want to find, it's a double-edged sword. In other words, genre and content get confused, and since there's already a box in hentai titles to put all the contents people can know about the contents beforehand so adding it seems unnecessary.

Its a scary subject since there's all varieties of people who try to do this in the real world ,and by that I mean converting gay people to heterosexuality in general; using various kinds of 'therapy' or torture (therapeutic or otherwise) and frequently detainment and/or inprisonment.

You guys are missing the point entirely. The yuri or girls love tag shouldn't be on a series like this. Just because it has a theme or a motif including elements of that doesn't mean it needs the tag.

To make my point, the synopsis can convey all of this information just as easily as the tag. In fact it can do so a million times better since you can type that very description into it so that people can properly be horrified and avoid it. 😅
