So that's what Lancelot's Fairy form looks like, it's funny that he has a fat fairy mode like King had a fat human mode.

And the insects reconfirm that Percival is the embodiment of Death, cause they knew if they attacked the other 3 he would switch modes and kill them all just by existing there.

Okay so Percival is immortal since his healing magic can act even when he's dead. Neat. It fits with him being the Knight of Death.

Didn't expect persival to get up so early. But nice, so there is a reason percival is the knight of death.

I wonder how the other knights will represent their epithets too

so does this mean that, as the horseman of death, Percival cant die?
Correct, either his magic auto-heals himself, or his body switches into 'Horseman of Death" mode and drains the life from everything around him.

Tristan is War, Lancelot is Pestilence, and Gawain is Famine, IIRC.

  1. Tristan goes into full Demon form and becomes undefeatable. His Goddess powers from Elizabeth allow him to constantly heal himself, and having both sets of magic gives him an advantage over everything.
  2. Lancelot turns into his Fairy form and creates plagues and insect/magical beast swarms with his telepathy.
  3. Gawain turns off her limiter and has to continuously eat in order to fuel her full power, both physical and magical. Remember after her first appearance and fight she had to down an entire barrel of pudding to recover.

This chapter hit so well in so many ways. First, I always appreciate Nakaba sensei's ability to always deliver character interactions that feel true and consistent, whether the scene is chill or high octane action. I really enjoy the different dynamics on each team, and it's fun to see Nasiens and Donny's absolute faith in Percy. I really love Tristan's double swords; this is something Kubo teased Ichigo having in Bleach but never really delivered on-- I don't think Nakaba sensei will be as fickle in this case. Lastly, it's hilarious seeing Lancelot's King-esque form change, except he's still cool as a cucumber. You just know he's gonna do something awesome regardless.
