@Velsy it's a possibility. Plus, there's the fact Momo's been watching him since he was a kid. She may have done something to him in the past yet to be revealed.

Keigo is becoming a badass detective/retainer now he knows how to use his new body including his knowledge in his vampire hunting gave him the advantage in the battle.

There is a reason why Momo chose him to be her retainer after 200 years without one. Like @Phaaze, she might have watched over him as a kid and the reasons she waited till now to have him are still unknown.

As for Morgana, we saw Amphisbaena came back after Momo dealt him with a death blow so it's definitely the same case with Morgana
