Momogusa will start to spiral into depression because of Hataki.

Hataki's sister will push the two back together because she doesn't want to see her brother like that.
Thirty+ misunderstanding chapters later, Momogusa and Hataki will get together and the next chapter is the series ending.
There will be an epilogue set 10 years in the future where Hataki's still cleaning up after Momogusa plus a kid.
