Movies/Comics,etc are not a perfect depiction of reality, we don't need to see everytime a person goes to the bathroom, we don't need to see each failing, if we are watching a movie about the Moon landing that focuses on the polits we don't a real time depiction of all the rockets that went up in flame and why they did.

You know when The Sopranos ended? When the series made it clear that the protagonist Tony had basically dug a trench around himself because of his paranoia and that he closed his relationship with the therapist because he simply was not going to change.

We know he is awkward around girls but we want to see him grow beyond that, we are not masochists like the readers of Rent-a-Girlfriend or Oyasumi Punpun which feature characters that don't learn or grow.
We were getting a nice pacing, if you look at the end of Volume 1 and Volume 2 we have PROGRESS, look at volume 3 it features a cliffhanger that goes...nowhere, the story also had a somewhat original way to deliver jokes about the awkwardness of the girl, she is not a violent tsundere but she is an accidental "killer", I think that's funny but we don't have anymore of that.

Still, the drawings are great, the side characters are funny (like the Matrix trench guy and the team captain and the cops).
Is still good, but is losing its footing.

but still, don't we look to characters we aspire to be like? Positive roll models? Lofty goals to reach for? At least allow the guy to swim... Or at least not stupid enough to dive in knowing how useless he is...

its actually quite nice that the side characters also seem to have somewhat of their own relationships. Like the girls also seem to be at least somewhat interested in the MCs friend and he ain't just one of these 3rd wheel folks that are technically there but practically no one even cares about them aside from MC. Like its just a fund detail that goes against cliches and shit
