@Mr_Detective: I tried altering it just now, but it just looked wrong; it was really already at-least-colloquially-correct English.

And while you're correct by grammar-school rules, the real rules of the English language are more complicated; in this case for instance I think https://brians.wsu.edu/2016/05/19/group-plural-vs-singular/ applies. So I changed it back. (I played with changing "A group of" to "Some", too, but that really ruined the tone too much.)

I feel this is interesting.
The concept is not too carried out insanely.
I see an average horror manga always giving the impression of being uncomfortable at first, especially from the characters. But this is normal. I like the spread of information to see situations that are potentially frightening.
And again, oh, I like urban legends! I'm an Asian and we do live with these ancient cultures and beliefs.
I hope this is really drawn to the effort of surviving not too blindly doing slaughter.

Logically, a group of people in such a situation like this would fucking at least pause to hear out the dude's claims of a trap and see if they are valid. People he came into contact with would join in and shout with him to stop the rest of the group: increasing the volume of noise to stop trekking. Also, didn't the fucking the manga establish the Chief is an avid mountain climber hobbyist and has "climbed this Mount Shirabi before."? How the fuck did the chief an hour or so later not pick up something's wrong, that he might have gone the wrong way?

Dude, if the author has to make the characters dumb-fuck retarded to set them up getting them killed and also to move the story line then I'm dropping this manga. Which is a fucking shame, cause the art is pretty decent and I'm curious whether the killer monkey is actually some sort of monster or a costumed serial killer.

@blueberry_mcfuckerson this is a genre in itself - the mangaka takes all sorts of characters everyday people would bitch about in their jobs or whatever and have them die gruesome deaths. its a quick catharsis for young workers
