4th place isn’t anything to scoff at. Volume sales are the real question.
First ch of the manga I actually disliked, that was far too immature all-around. Story about adults where suddenly everyone is acting like a teenager, ugh. Maybe the scene would have worked better if the art wasn't so hyperbolic, if they talked in a relatively cold demeanor at least it wouldn't have come across as a shouting match between children.
The last time they interacted they WERE children and they slipped back into their old behaviors. It's very easy to do when you've had no contact for years.
