Objectively, this is a beautiful chapter, but we do see the problems with Asmodeus Scans. I hate to complain about scanlators, but they're a slow group that also hoards what few chapters they do translate through paywalls. That makes these waits that much longer.
A chapter of visuals for a monthly manga is excellent. A chapter of visuals after 4 months is disappointing.

I love this chapter, not many Isekai telling the details of the journey and just skip straight to battle so this is a fresh take on Isekai

Hot take: To be honest this was a nice chapter of world building which gave me Lord of the Rings vibes with how everyone was travelling and helping each other.

It only feels like a drag since we haven't seen a new chapter in a while.

In the Web and Light novels this was just an paragraph where Len described how tough his journey was but the Mangaka went out of his way to show just how big and beautiful the World is.

I was thinking the same thing. Like sure, it went very quick, but the visuals of this chapter are pretty stunning all things considered. I feel like this manga and the Paladin manga actually take the Isekai setting farther than your typical junk food you find on here. I think people should go back and read it again while savoring it a bit more, then go find the latest 5/10 isekai that just hit the front page and compare. I would prefer to have this any day of the week.

Maybe I'm biased because I really like the visuals of this manga, especially the character designs, but even generally speaking I feel like this manga has above average graphics in the isekai category. There are some really lazy isekai around, of course, lowering the standards, so maybe being above average in such company doesn't sound like much. Nevertheless, since the author has decided to invest in the visuals, it also makes sense there would be a chapter like this that was about little but the visuals; there wasn't even much dialogue. Snowy mountain scenery and such. Like you said, the LOTR movies were quite a spectacle to look at as well.

This. And another thing to note is that the Mangaka has been working hard nonstop.

He has never taken a month break since Chapter 0 of the Manga first came out in September 2022 and has consistently released a new chapter every month since(Raw Chapters are currently up to Chapter 34).

One Chapter of Little Dialogue and Minimal Progression is way better than someone taking a month(maybe more) break or even a filler arc.

I agree with most that the chapter was quite uneventful and simultaneously had some fairly nice moments, but yes. This is easily a chapter that could have been summed up in 3 pages for the travels. I think the bridge over the miasma lava canyon was the most major event during the travels. The walking through snow and resting for several pages could easily have been cut.

I’m glad we’re finally going to see some action, the MC can once again flex.
