Iirc in the novel, even if she know the mc true identity. They still wont introduce each other for the sake of overcoming their current adversity. They properly introduce after the whole arc is over (because of the twist)

Arc ends (and MC is finally reunited with best girl Lycia) when the two:
1. Attempt to escape on a bridge only to fall because a certain god in the mountain (named in previous chapter, unfortunately I forgor) became awakened because of Fiona’s secret “dark” power (the raws currently have this part, unfortunately asmodeus has the upload schedule of an unemployed doctor so we’ll have to wait 2 years)
2. Fight off the two people (that one guy with the animal ears and his partner) that MC was “friends” with because betrayal (plot twist!)
3. Get trapped in the castle because lava from the gods power too much
4. Try to escape and end up running into the god himself
5. Fight a 200 decade long fight (exaggeration, but reading it sure felt long af) against the god in which both MC and Fiona awaken powers or some shit

Only then will they finally get home the arc ends

I do really love this story, the mangaka takes time to make the appropriate set up for things to happen…that being said, him not introducing himself for this long has been absolutely excruciating to read. I constantly find myself wondering “will this be the chapter?” when he reveals himself? And it’s made it difficult to enjoy the nice calm moments like that full page spread in front of the fire place, which should have, by all intent, been a nice and enjoyable spread.

Hopefully we get some kind of progression, because this has been a bit of a stumble for this manga.
